As the authorising person on behalf of the applying organisation,

I can confirm that the applicant:

  • Has read and understands the Declaration and Acceptance of Grant Terms and Conditions (Located on last page of application)
  • Has read and understands the Community Initiatives Grant Application Guidelines
  • Is able to demonstrate alignment between their project and the road safety aims of the government of Western Australia
  • Does not owe any Acquittal or Evaluation reports or funds to the Road Safety Commission as a result of previous funding or grants (this is not inclusive of ongoing project grants that are not due to be acquitted)
  • Is not seeking funding for items that are not in accordance with Community Initiatives Grant Application Guidelines
  • Abides by relevant State and Federal legislation, as applicable; for example, in respect to Working with Children Screening, Criminal Record Checking and Liquor Control
  • In relation to Services that comprise or involve “child-related work” (as defined in section 6 of the Working with Children (Criminal Record Checking) Act 2004 (WA), the Contractor agrees to: implement the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (https://childsafe.humanrights.gov.au/national-principles/download-national-principles); provide training to ensure that all Contractor Personnel are aware of and comply with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations; and provide evidence of compliance with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations to the Contract Authority or Customer as and when
  • Has consulted with the Road Safety Commission Community Initiatives team to discuss the intended grant purpose
